Black History Celebration is TOMORROW NIGHT
This is one of our biggest event and we are ready!!!!
We have student-led entertainment, including the Cedar Valley Step team, the dance team, "living museum" and students reading poems. We will also have fraternities, sororities, a mentoring group and local authors.
There will be arts & crafts for all ages. There will be a vast display of soul food history with samples to try.

The KISD Visual Arts Department will be hosting our annual Art Exhibition & Festival.
The opening reception will be Monday, February 23rd 5:30pm-8:30pm, and UG will be at the front with our display this year! The festival is fun for all ages with a multitude of free hands-on art making activities, and will happen on Saturday, February 28th 10:00am-3:00pm.

This is the LAST WEEK for the United Way fundraiser!
A HUGE SHOUT OUT to Mr. Hess and Ms. Lucas for getting tatted up by their students! We appreciate them for helping United Way of Central Texas. Who will get tattoos this week?!
During all grade level lunches, students can donate money for various fun activities.
Parents can also donate by using the QR code on the flyer. (If they are donating for their child to participate in the activities, please email Parent Liaison, Mrs. Ventura at jennise.colinventura@killeenisd.org so she can add it to the list of participants.)
All donations are tax deductible (you will get a digital receipt) and stays in our area. These funds help our local students and their families that need help.
