The Spring Break Program will run March 16–20, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and is free for Boys & Girls Club members. The program will take place at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas College & Career Center, located at 707 N. 8th Street, Killeen, TX.
Students will participate in a variety of engaging activities throughout the week, including arts and crafts, gym activities, games, and more. Members will need to bring their own meals, and snacks will be provided. Registration packets are required and must be submitted by March 13, with online registration encouraged by March 11 to secure a spot.

Congratulations to Maurice Brooks! He was selected as UGMS's Outstanding Student of the Week.

"Maurice has made an effort to befriend and mentor my sixth graders. Anytime he sees me talking to any of my students in the hallway, he stops and visits with them. He doesn't hesitate to give them a high-five or tell them to have a good day. He stops by after school to help coach UIL at least once a week. He will work with 6th, 7th, or 8th graders. It doesn't matter to him who he works with. He just wants to help!"
This is Maurice's second award this school year!! This is an incredible accomplishment and we are extremely proud of him! Go, Maurice!!!

Every Friday, UG Parents and guardians of the military (active duty, retired, prior service, reserves, National Guard, etc.) can join their children to have lunch every Friday.

Tonight is the UGMS Orchestra Fundraiser at Sonic Drive In from 5pm to 7pm. See you there!
Union Grove students came... they competed... and they exceled! We had several kiddos place at Academic UIL over the weekend. Our students were troopers showing up at Nolan MS before 7:30 am on a Saturday morning and stayed up there until after 3:30 pm in the afternoon.
Thank you to all the coaches who helped prepare out students for this event.
And a huge thank you to Mrs. Cook for being the glue that held everything together.

Did you know that more than 350,000 cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals each year? That’s about the same number of people who visit Disneyland in a week!
When cardiac arrests happen outside a hospital, they often require a bystander to step in and help. That’s why we are participating in 1 Week to Save a Life with the American Heart Association—to empower students with lifesaving skills.
Students are encouraged to sign up and complete the 7 lifesaving steps in Finn’s Mission. Through this experience, they’ll learn critical skills and gain the confidence to act in an emergency.
